Today, Vanita Vishram is 110 years old registered charitable trust imparting education to girl students from pre-primary to university level to more than 11,000 girl students. It has also created a dedicated unit named “Vanita Vishram Institute for the Empowerment of Women” (VIEW) which provides required training opportunities to needy women for making them employable & self-reliant. The main motto of the institute right from the beginning is to continuously work not only for women but also for family’s welfare. Ultimately, the institute is extending its help to the society at large. Natkhat Nest falls under the banner of VIEW. Nurturing &raising children is basically the duty of the parents. However, we also want to share their responsibility by providing same amount of love and care to the kids. We provide an opportunity to the toddlers to learn in safe, secured and conducive environment. Our objective is also to provide an opportunity to mothers to shape their professional career depending on the individual child’s psychology & capacity. Last but not the least, Natkhat Nest Day Care is the brainchild of Mr. Haresh Mehta (Hon. Secretary, Vanita Vishram) and his wife and the Director of Natkhat Nest Mrs. Rajul H. Mehta.

When a child gets enrolled in Natkhat Nest, he/she is in the formative stage of his/her life, and it is also their first step towards socialization. Here, he/she grows up with the children of different age group. They tend to develop a healthy emotional bonding with everyone around.

Children are the greatest gift of God and each and every child is special. Therefore, it is important not only to teach them but also to give them required love, care and joy. As Buckminster Fuller has rightly said, “Every child is born genius, but the process of living degeniouses them.” This formative stage is very important as 70% to 80% of brain development takes place between 0 to 7 years.

Therefore, it is our duty to teach our children through play-way method. We must try to make sure that their childhood is treasured and nurtured like a flower, so that they grow up into strong, efficient and healthy adults and form the base of a healthy society. Lastly, teaching children to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is best.
